Job Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
- Assist lead teachers in implementing curriculum development plans that promote literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional growth.
- Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and maintaining a safe, organized learning environment.
- Engage children in age-appropriate activities that stimulate curiosity, creativity, and early childhood development.
- Help with toddler care routines including feeding, diapering, and nap times in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities to foster strong home-school connections.
- Support special education initiatives and early intervention strategies tailored to meet individual child needs.
- Maintain accurate records of classroom activities, attendance, and developmental milestones while adhering to mandated reporting laws.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings is preferred but will train.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles, classroom management techniques, and behavior management strategies is helpful.
- Familiarity with curriculum development including literacy education, Montessori methods, or standardized testing is advantageous.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is helpful.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families.
- Ability to follow lesson plans and adapt activities to diverse learning styles.

Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
